We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again. Office is not suited to the mobile format. But bugger what we say, Microsoft is doing it anyway! November 2012 is the launch month for MS Office for Android and iOS according to sources.

The story leaked months ago with what seemed like a legit screenshot. Excel, Word and PowerPoint functionality will make its way to the iPad and Android tablets.

There’s also the slight chance that MS Office will make it’s way to the iPhone and various Android smartphones. That would seem like a stretch as the screen format is tiny. Apparently, the loading screen says “MS Office for iOS” so we can’t rule out the chances just yet.
