Things we dig: old-school Snake on Nokia’s Lumia

Complete with green screen and everything, Snake is back! Developed by Willem Middelkoop for Nokia’s Lumia smartphone range; it can be downloaded from Windows Phone Marketplace.

The Lumia touch screen is transformed back to the early 2000s with an image of a 3310 on the screen to play on. For those that grew up in the ‘90s, it’s right in the childhood.

Just like with the 3310, you use the 2, 4, 6 and 8 keys to move up, down, left and right. There is the option to play with a blank screen, or for those well rehearsed in Snake, there are 8 labyrinths to navigate around.

Do you think that this will make the Lumia as indestructible as the legendary 3310? Anybody willing to test it?
