Because Samsung is blazing ahead in the smartphone race, and because Apple shares have nicely boosted in Taiwan, the iPhone 5 is most likely scheduled for an August release.

This all stems from a media report which said that Taiwanese supplier shares to Apple have recently skyrocketed. This then points to a release earlier than October. Pretty dry stuff, but it gives us hope.
