Every screen nowadays is becoming interactive and Tencent wants a piece of the pie. In a joint effort, Tencent and TCL have developed the iCE SCREEN, an Android powered 26 inch TV, for release on 3 September.

The screen has a resolution of 1366×768 for its 26 inches. It will be powered by a dual-core Cortex A9 1GHz processor with 4GB of RAM and a slot for a memory card of up to 32GB. Android devices with an OS of 2.2 and up will be able to be used as a remote with a special app, but there will also be an IR remote available.

It comes with a variety of ports like HDMI, two USBs, and a 3.5 headphone jack, while it connects everything via Wi-Fi. If this tickles your fancy, plunk down about US$315 (¥1,999) for your preorder.
