Android Jelly Bean hits Samsung Galaxy S III this October

It had to happen. Samsung’s gone and confirmed that Android Jelly Bean or Android 4.1 will land on select Galaxy S IIIs come October. No date has been set, Samsung only says “From October” so let the waiting begin.

Jelly Bean is the best, and fastest version of Android yet and updates such as Google Now happily integrate’s with smartphones like marmite and toast.

The S III’s not the only feature handset to hit the ground running with Jelly Bean. Samsung’s Galaxy S II has also been kind of been confirmed to receive the Jelly Bean injection but no month has been specifically mentioned.
