Everyone wants a virtual keyboard and anyone who says otherwise is lying. Seriously, what could be cooler? When I got handed the virtual keyboard to review I squealed a little. My Matrixesque dreams were finally coming true.
Since I was eight-years-old I have been waiting for hovercrafts and in-brain wireless technology. I feel technology is taking its sweet time to catch up with my ambitions. The virtual keyboard isn't the revolutionary tech I yearned for but it's a start.
So ...

If you're a fan of popular British science fiction show, Doctor Who, you know no act is too 'out there'. Fans of Doctor Who will do anything and believe in anything. So it's not surprising that Scottish scientists have replicated the Doctor's signature sonic screwdriver, reports Gizmodo.
A sonic screwdriver you ask? Part Tricorder and part lock-picker, the Doctor's screwdriver is an all-in-one device that can do anything.
Doctor Who is a television show that follows the adventures of a Time Lord, ...

I suppose no matter how far we evolve in our perception of what is cool there will be stragglers who still find geekdom hard to comprehend and wonder why any girl would give a geek the time of day. Anyone who watches The Big Bang Theory will find reason to agree and disagree that sentiment. With all the World of warcrafting, Halo and Mass effecting going on are these geek boys too consumed in their game world to get a ...

Before you even begin reading this just understand that I am a big fan of Samsung and the Galaxy range. I think the Samsung/Google marriage is one of the best tech partnerships in a while. So understand that as you read this.
Samsung has done a pretty good job with its Galaxy range so far. Recently the Galaxy SII won best smartphone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. With accolades like that, we expect a certain standard for a phone ...

I was told I was getting a Maserati GranTurismo or an Aston Martin DBS. I was lied to. The package was awfully small to be an Aston. I looked around the 'Burn offices and everyone shrugged. I opened it and guess what? It was a mouse. Not just any mouse, a car-shaped mouse.
But it still wasn't a Maserati, it was a Range Rover Evoque. Ok fine, I am into off-road excitement. Why not take the Evoque for a spin around ...

I don't know about you but I like fancy toys. I also like design, if the design doesn't grab me there is a chance I won't think twice about a product. This is why a Hermes scarf has the power to undo a person: it's sexy, sophisticated and chic. This is why I love the iPad 2 and Samsung's Galaxy Tab 10.1.
When I began drawing up my list for Santa I found it difficult to decide which of these sexy ...

Controversial Taiwanese tech giant Foxconn has announced plans to mass produce industrial robots as part of its efforts to cope with labour shortages and rising wages.
The project, which is initially forecast to cost the Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Tw$6.7-billion (US$223-million), was unveiled Saturday when Terry Gou, chairman of the conglomerate, broke ground for the construction of a research and development unit in Taichung, central Taiwan.
"The investment marks the beginning of Hon Hai's bid to build an empire of robots," ...

Research in Motion has done a pretty good job marketing the BlackBerry as a business phone with great social media capabilities. As a BlackBerry user, the amount of applications in the "Blackberry App World" still overwhelms me, and I am a social user. It seems I'm not alone -- most of the people I know use the BlackBerry for personal use.
However for the business users out there connected to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, who require their phones to function ...

Ahh.... the iPhone, the height of status in our society today. Those who have it won't stop gushing about how amazing it is. Those who don't have one wish they did (yes you do stop denying it). You see iPhone users all over town, always on their phones and busy with some "cool" app or other. Generally, when you meet someone with an iPhone it takes them less than 30 seconds to make it clear they have an iPhone. The ...

Just two and half years since its launch, the Apple App Store is about to clock in its 10 billionth download. This same feat took iTunes eight years to achieve. To celebrate, Apple is giving away a US$10 000 iTunes Gift Card to the person who downloads the 10-billionth app.
To commemorate the occasion Apple has also created an iTunes page featuring lists of the top paid and free apps available for iPhone and iPad devices. Four of the top free ...
