WindowsLeaks: Windows 8 Release Preview drops 31 May

Ol’ Chuck Chan, Corporate vice president of the Windows 8 development team dropped this bomb: Windows 8 Release Preview (RP) is landing today, 31 May.

What else, you scream? The delightfully square Metro UI will feature Internet Explore 10, bundled with Flash. Why the big deal? Flash was originally planned for surgical removal from IE10 , but the big-M is backtracking on this, and has decided to hook Flash up with its million-plus customer base.

  • I’ve made it a practice to no longer install flash on my systems. Although google chrome has it. I don’t see the point of Microsoft including it, rather then them making it optional, but so be it.
