lg v40 thinq

LG V40 ThinkQ is now official

This week LG officially launched the V40 ThinQ – its smartphone with five cameras.

In fact, the company calls this camera system “revolutionary” with “the power to capture moments big or small, at different angles from multiple perspectives”.

The three rear cameras work simultaneously, giving your three pictures out of every click.

“Easily capture three photos – standard, telephoto zoom and super wide-angle – with just one click.”

With the dual front-facing cameras you can choose between standard or 90 degree wide angle selfies.

The device also uses AI to help you choose filters and make basic edits to your photos.

Other specs include:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage
  • 6.4 inch P-OLED 3120×1440 notched display
  • IP68 water and dust resistance
  • 3300mAh battery
  • 3.5mm headphone jack with 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad Dac
  • DTS: X 3D Surround Sound

The LGV40 ThinQ comes in Aurora Black and Moroccan Blue variants, but a global or local release date hasn’t been confirmed yet.
