Instead, Microsofts' community forums were flooded with complaints about personal files having gone missing once the update was installed, with users unable to recover them. Microsoft has since taken down the update with plans on fixing the odd bug. "We have paused the rollout of the Windows 10 October 2018 Update (version 1809) for all users as we investigate isolated reports of users missing some files after updating," Microsoft...

  • Fallout 76’s beta will launch in three weeks

Though Fallout 76 will only be released in November, game developer Bethesda has announced a beta version coming in late October. “During the B.E.T.A. one of our primary goals is to stress test and break the game,” said the company in a blog post. To do this, the beta version will not run constantly, instead players will “be online during targeted timeframes so we can get as many people as possible playing at the same time”. Bethesda explains that it believes this is the best way to test its systems. The company also released the in-game introduction on YouTube. “Our B.E.T.A. (Break-It Early...

  • Fujifilm Instax Square SQ6 review: snap, print, repeat

I was quite excited to get my hands on Fujifilm’s Instax Square SQ6 when the camera launched in South Africa last month. But now that I have my hands on a review unit, were my expectations met? Was I left disappointed? Well… The Looks Visually, this camera is quite attractive, which is probably why I was so keen to have one. It has that vintage aesthetic, yet comes in three contemporary colours. Personally, I think the Blush Gold is better than the Graphite Grey and Pearl White. The Instax SQ6 itself is quite big, occupying an area of 119mm by 128mm by 58mm,...
